UCAS

Heads of House, alongside university advisors, give seminars on the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) explaining how the system works, the courses on offer, advice on the differences between universities and advises on timelines and dates to apply.

They then meet individually with students to discuss preferences and work through a long list with the student through bi-weekly meetings, where course content and modules are examined to ensure the right five universities are short-listed.  Students are encouraged to speak online to current students at particular universities and attend UCAS exhibitions and to do their own research with guidance from their tutors.
