Cardiff Sixth Form College vs St Michael’s Netball and Badminton
This past Saturday, CSFC students took part in an exciting sports fixture against St Michael’s School, showcasing both skill and sportsmanship. Our teams competed in two highly anticipated matches: netball and badminton.
The netball match was a gripping contest from start to finish. Both teams displayed incredible determination and teamwork, with the game remaining tight throughout. CSFC pulled ahead in the final moments, securing a hard-fought 13-10 victory in what was truly a nail-biting finish. Our players exhibited great resilience and composure under pressure, earning a well-deserved win against strong opposition.
In the badminton fixture, it was a fantastic display of athleticism and camaraderie, with players from both schools giving their best in every match. The games were closely contested, and the event ultimately ended in a draw. Despite the tied outcome, the sportsmanship and positive energy shown by everyone involved made it a memorable experience for all.
Overall, it was a wonderful day of sport, filled with competitive spirit and mutual respect. We’re incredibly proud of our students’ performances and grateful to St Michael’s School for being such gracious competitors. We look forward to our next fixture with them, as we continue to build this strong sporting partnership.
